CFA Asks FDA to Help Consumers Make Healthy Choices More Easily

CFA submitted the following comments on the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) comprehensive, multi-year Nutrition Innovation Strategy. The comments commend the agency’s commitment to aligning food labels with dietary advice, and urge the agency to take action against deceptive food labels, as well as to develop comprehensive front-of-pack labeling that helps consumers not only identify more healthy packaged foods, but also avoid those most associated with diet-related disease.
