CFA Submits Comments to CPSC Regarding a Safety Standard for Magnets
Rachel Weintraub, CFA’s Legislative Director and General Counsel, submitted comments to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, about the need for a mandatory standard for magnets. CFA supports the CPSC’s notice of proposed rulemaking seeking to develop a safety standard to address “the unreasonable risk of injury and death associated with ingestion of loose or separable high-powered magnets.”
