Privacy Coalition Letter Opposing Washington Bill
In a letter to the members of the Washington House committee on Innovation, Technology & Economic Development Committee, CFA along with other consumer and privacy groups joined together to oppose privacy legislation currently being considered by the Washington State legislature. The current legislation improves upon previous iterations of ITED, but is still too week, includes numerous exceptions and includes few specifics on how to protect Washingtonian’s privacy.
